About Us

We never take a single approach to help kids succeed. It takes caring mentors, such as our trained Club staff. It takes a safe place, like our Clubs that are consistently there for the kids they serve. It takes innovative, quality programs designed to empower youth to excel in school and lead healthy, productive lives.

We do whatever it takes to ensure all kids have a great future.

For more than 160 years, Boys & Girls Clubs have
opened doors of opportunity.

Boys & Girls Club's Impact

We're closing

opportunity gaps.

Many Club youth experience "opportunity gaps," meaning they don’t receive the same opportunities as others. By increasing access and opportunities for all, we empower kids to reach their full potential.

We offer cutting-edge curriculum.

We offer research- and evidence-based curriculum that helps kids in middle and high school discover new interests, explore career options and harness their power to create Great Futures.

We're a safe place

to go.

Kids can find much-needed stability at the Club. We're committed to helping every student realize and utilize their strengths. Our Club functions best when kids are encouraged to be fully themselves.

Our Commitment to Equity

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Lincoln/Lancaster County (BGC) is to empower all youth to reach their full potential. We advocate for them to have equitable opportunities to participate and succeed in all organizations and workplaces—especially our own.

With our mission in mind, BGC applies principles of equity and inclusion to guide our policies, practices and procedures. We seek to develop and implement programs that support youth, employees and families of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, citizenship status and religion.

This is an ongoing process that challenges us to listen to those who may not have been heard and commit our organization to learn and grow. When we do this, we empower not only our youth but the families, staff and communities that make up Boys & Girls Clubs of Lincoln/Lancaster County.

Together, we strive to ensure Great Futures for all youth in our community.
